Our new center is located next to the Excellent french restaurant "
ATLANTIS" on the nicest beach, white sand, of Santa Maria.
This new location is very handy for everybody, 2 minutes from the pier,
2 minutes from Morabeza Hotel, just behind the Belohrizonte and
Novohorizonte Hotel, 3 minutes by car from Dunas do sal Riu and Crioula
Hotel. The city center stay now at 5 minutes walking.
From this place it´s very easy to organise excursions around the
island, fishing trip and eat a very good local food.

The Orca Dive Club Cape Verde is open all year round. From 8am until 6pm, 7 days a week you will be able to find one of our competent and friendly staff to answer all of your questions. These opening hours allow the upmost flexibility for check in/out so you don't miss any valuable dive time.

The Orca Dive Club Cape Verde has one RIB with two outboard engines. The boat can take 14 divers and has all the necessary navigation equipment, oxygen and first aid kit on board. Larger boats can be rented for special and full day trips as required.

The dive centre has 20 brand new complete sets of diving equipment from Scubapro, Aqualung and Mares.

With over 70 steel tanks at your disposal you will never have to come up for air at the Orca Dive Club Cape Verde. Available tank sizes are 12 and 15ltr all with DIN/INT connection. In line with the Club's philosophy of "Safety First" all tanks are regulary inspected and serviced in accordance with stringent in house test procedures. Hydrostatic testing is conducted out of house by an international accredited inspection company.

In the compressor room you will find a Bauer compressor KAP500. In the future we will install a Nitrox membrane system.

Your valuable dive equipment is safe in our spacious dryroom. With numerous large fresh water rinse tanks, one only for regs. computers and cameras, you're sure to get all the salt out of your equipment. These dedicated storage areas are well ventilated so that your gear can dry before your departure. The dryrooms are open from 8am until 6pm and remain locked at all other times.

Guests diving at the Orca Dive Club Cape Verde have our well stocked medical room at their disposal. The medical room has a large array of bandaging, disinfecting and other medical products in stock.

In the neighbouring hotel there is a Spanish doctor and in more serious cases there is a hospital in Santa Maria town.
